My landscape demonstration from a photograph this morning on day one of my latest painting workshop at the Lighthouse ArtCenter.
Painting the landscape is about learning how to simplify, and the trails at Blowing Rocks Preserve as a subject are a good way to practice that, as there is so much going on, you can’t capture everything, only the suggestion of it.
