2021 Plein Air Easton Paintings

It was great to be back for the Plein Air Easton Competition and Arts Festival again this year.

I am truly honored to have been a juried artist in this great event for six years now. I’m taking a break from plein air competitions, and I could not have asked for a better way to finish my event experience than with what is truly the premier plein air painting festival in the country.

I always looked forward to PAE, because the talented and professional Avalon Staff and volunteers work so hard to make this event such a wonderful and positive experience for each and every artist. My deepest heartfelt thanks to all of you. I also want to thank event judge Daniel Weiss, president of the The Metropolitan Museum of Art, for my Small Painting Sunday award.

I am so grateful to have been a part of PAE. Some of my best plein air painting memories of all time have happened in Talbot County.
