The demonstration painting I did this morning is a great memory of our time living in Brooklyn. We took the Roosevelt Island Tramway on the Upper East Side
one morning, and shot photos from the cable car. I printed out this
cityscape a long time ago with the intention of painting it, but had
changed my mind.
The artists in my Art Loft workshop saw the photo today and chose it because they wanted an exercise in simplification.
